Dazed & Confused December Issue: 20 + 20 Covers Project

I had so much fun with my  wonderful friend Jordan scott glamming her up for the fantastic 20 + 20 covers project , shot by Rankin . Eva green had shown fantastic taste in choosing Jordan as her cover girl.I think she did amazingly. I truly love doing jordans hair and make up as she has this wonderful long thick red hair , that just does as its told and  this beautiful porcelain skin . My trusty babyliss curling wand provided the perfect amount of waves and a little of kevin murphys powder puff really helped to tousle the hair  and give volume. Jordan came in with her pre prepped skin. she was the one that introduced me to the joys of the Clarasonic ,so all i needed to do was pop on a little of Oskias wonder product Get up and Glow . This firms and adds radiance to the face and works as a great primer. On with a light base of Chanels Vitalumiere and i concealed away any more troublesome blemishes with Laura Mercier Secret Camoflage a light dusting of Macs Prep + Prime  Invisible powder on the eyelids only ,provided  a wonderful backdrop for these stunning smouldery eyes. i used my all time favourite Mac’s Fluidline in blacktrack to create quite a strong tick and taking it along the lower lashline too , this giving more drama. I like to use an angled brush to create the shape and then soften and pull out  the edges with a smudge brush . Lashings of my favourite mascara Mac Haute and Naughty . Remember several thin coats is always much more beautiful than one clumpy one. Last but in no means least a lovely slick of bright red lipstick by yours truly ‘Trust’ …i think a stunningly strong look for the party season….enjoy. love karen..xxx
