Holly Valance Pride of Britain awards

It was amazing to be reunited with holly again, having previously worked with her on the video for Kiss Kiss. Needless to say she still looks as stunning as ever! Holly wore a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress that tied in beautifully with the 1940’s trend thats going to be huge this season! I made a subtle nod to this again with the hair and makeup but gave it a contemporary edge to avoid the look becoming too costumey… I used the Babyliss Curling Wand to achieve a 40′-esque wave and styled it with Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Cream, James Brown Dry Shampoo, Aveda Brilliant Spray-on Shine and L’Oréal Elnett.

For the makeup I wanted to keep it quite natural but with a glamorous edge. To achieve this on the eyes I used Ardell Knot Free Individual Lashes adding tons of extra volume.

For the skin I used the gorgeous Chanel Mat Lumiere that helps give a gorgeous forties matte finish.

St Tropez were my go-to products for bronzing and highlighting the skin, I used St Tropez Bronzing Rocks, St Tropez Matte Bronzer and St Tropez Gold Skin Illuminator in Gold.

Finally for the lips I used MAC Lipliner in Oak and then Jemma Kidd Lip Gloss to finish.
